Week 7 - W/C 12th October
Good afternoon,
We have had a fantastic first half-term in Year 1! To celebrate earning our 15 marbles in the jar, we enjoyed a fun trip to the park yesterday. I hope you enjoy reading all about our learning from this half-term in the newsletter.
This year, our nativity will be the ‘Rootin’ Tootin’ Nativity’ and children should have come home with their scripts yesterday. Any support over the half-term break with helping children to remember their lines as well as when they need to say their line would be greatly appreciated!

Some reminders for the first week back:
- Monday 2nd November – Return to school.
- Next half term, the children will be taking part in a Yoga session on a Tuesday, this will therefore replace Monday’s PE lesson.
- PE kit to be worn on TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY please.
- Wednesday 4th November – Dance and Gymnastics Festival. Children to come dressed in PE kit with a named water bottle.
- No PE kit needed on Thursday.
- Friday – Spelling test and book-banded books changed
