The Primary School of St Mary and St MartinLet your light shine – Matthew 5:16
Week 6 - W/C 5th October
Hello,
Well done to our award winners this week:
Incredible Effort – Rudy
Gold Award – Ollie
Another busy week in Orange Class! We enjoyed our multi-skills trip to The Elizabethan School on Monday, as well as our visit to the church yesterday for the Harvest Festival. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and a big thank you for your generosity with the food bank donations. It is much appreciated! We have done some brilliant learning this week, including starting our new literacy unit based on the story The Odd Egg. The children have been using some fantastic adjectives to describe the different birds in the story and, in our lesson today, have tried to use exclamation marks like the author does!
Some reminders for next week:
School photographs on MONDAY, therefore NO PE KIT please as children will need their school uniform on for the photos.
Tuesday – BPBP Coffee Afternoon in the hall at 1.30pm.
PE kit on THURSDAY please.
Friday – Macmillan Coffee Afternoon 2pm – 4pm.
- Spelling test, book-banded books changed and last day of Autumn Term 1.
Have a great weekend
Miss Passaseo
