Happy Friday!
This week our focus story has been The Rainbow Fish and we've done lots of discussion and thinking about how to be a kind friend, how to share and the little ways we can spread happiness to those around us. We've been using different materials to print rainbow fish scales, have had lots of fun with the under the sea small world and we've been using lots of pretty little gems to get some funky finger practice as we decorated some sea critters.
The rest of the school had a house scarecrow competition today, but our nursery children had an afternoon on The Scarecrow's Wedding and made their own individual scarecrows and did some fun actitivies around that.
Coming up next week; it's the school Harvest Service at church on Thursday at 2.30pm. If you'd like to take them to watch it, you can collect them from nursery at 2pm, otherwise it is usual pick-up at 3.30pm (unless booked into club).
A big well done to Joseph for getting the Gold Award and Nursery Bear this week, and have a wonderful weekend everyone :)
