Hello Indigo Class!

It has been a great first full week as we get used to our normal routines and lessons. There have been many positive comments around school about how well Y6 have settled into their roles as leaders. 

Here is what is happening this week... 

Monday- BPBP (Bassetlaw Primary Behaviour Partnership) Coffee morning, 9am. This is open to all parents/careers, where discussions such as children's eating, sleeping, anxiety and behaviour will be covered to support parents with helpful tips for home. 

Tuesday- PE. Please make sure that school PE kit is in school all week. It should arrive on a Monday and it will leave on Friday for a clean. Currently, Tuesday is our only PE slot and it shall be a longer slot in the afternoon. 

Wednesday- Trip to Serlby Park Academy. Y6 children have been invited to a 'Taster Day' at Serbly Park, where we shall engage in a range of lesson and activities. Serlby will offer lunch and food to the children as part of the day, but you may provide a lunch if you wish. 

Friday- Homework is due. This homework is the following: At least three recorded reading sessions a week which is signed by an adult, spelling practise/spelling sheet and at least 35 minutes of Times Table Rockstar a week (averaging 5 minutes a day).
