Happy Friday!
We've had our first full week in school and what a wonderful week it's been. Our focus topic has been Who Am I? We have each painted a self-portrait to put on our gallery display and they have loved spotting their own and their friends faces on the wall. We have also been sharing about our families and the special people who look after us.
Some activities we've enjoyed this week have been drawing our families outside with chalk and in paint, we've been using the tools and cutters to create different people in the playdough and there's been lots of family roleplay going on in the home corner.
Our nursery children are settling into our routines well, and we've started introducing morning jobs for once they have put away their things; finding their name for self-registration and choosing a book to explore. Mrs Breen has also been very impressed with the sitting and joining in at her morning carpet times.
A big well done to Maeve for getting the Gold award and Nursery bear this week, and have a wonderful weekend everyone!
