This game is for reading practice. You can choose a number of cards and then write the relevant words in a list. Can they read the word independently and then match the right picture to it? Don't forget to model correct formation, even when it's you writing for/with them please!
Once they've done this, you could always ask them to make a game for someone else in the house. They can choose some pictures, write the words (likely with your support) and then see if a sibling/friend/family member can complete their game!
