Congratulations to the award winners this week, William and Alex!
What a busy first week back we've had! The class enjoyed their first yoga session, the Dance and Gymnastics Festival and we have started to practise for our Nativity.
In literacy, we have started a new unit focused on the four sentence types (statements, exclamations, commands and questions). To practise writing questions, the children planned and performed an interview with pink crayon (from the book 'The Day the Crayons Quit').
In maths, we are continuing our unit on addition and subtraction. The children have been learning to add and subtract two 2-digit numbers by drawing base 10. Ask how they would work out 43 + 15 = ? or
68 - 24 = ? to find out more!
